Ken and Teresa Fetzer Oster, winegrowers and proprietors of Oster Wine Cellars have more than thirty-five years of experience in the wine industry. Ken is a fourth-generation grape grower managing the family’s estate vineyards and participating in the community as an advocate for sustainable viticulture. Teresa is one of eleven children born to Barney and Kathleen Fetzer, founders of Fetzer Vineyards. She uses her industry knowledge to handle the business and financial aspects of Oster Wine Cellars while overseeing winery events and the annual wine club. Always inspired by the ideals of organic farming, they are determined to create world-class wines that truly reflect the land they have so much respect for. They continue to improve their craft, while staying focused on their vision of small-lot production and maintaining the intimacy of a family-owned boutique winery.
Their passion for making fine wine is matched only by a love of playing acoustic bluegrass music and they enjoying providing the community with a gathering place for many amazing musicians that inspire them.
Adrianna Oster Gozza, winemaker for Oster Wine Cellars completed a MS from UC Davis for Viticulture and Enology in 2009. While gaining formal training at UC Davis, Adrianna worked with Dr. Andrew Waterhouse on investigation the importance of metals in the chemical mechanism of wine oxidation and with Dr. Andrew Walker teaching viticulture and amplelography to undergraduate students. After completion of her MS degree, Adrianna worked with Bob Bath and Karen MacNeil at the Culinary Institute of America, developing her palate and knowledge of wine from around the world. She now works closely with her parents, to craft their small lots of Estate Cabernet Sauvignon and currently lives in Redwood Valley on one of their estate vineyards with her husband.
